PwC SDC Kolkata is a global delivery centre providing various professional services to clients globally through our PwC network across multiple territories. We provide high quality value-added services across the three lines of service (LoS) - Assurance, Advisory and Tax. We started operations in Kolkata on 1 July 2010. Currently, we are a 4,000+ people strong organisation with offices in Bangalore and Kolkata. Since July 2015, SDC Kolkata is led by Barsha Sanyal, who has been with the PwC network for over 26 years.

Job Description & Summary

Preferred skills

• Tax Briefing and Tax Returns Support and Coordinating with PwC offices
• Tax Return Assistance and Review of Foreign Tax Liabilities
• Coordinating with foreign office & third party vendors to collate information related to assignment
• Pulling Tax Data Organisers and making it available to the tax returns preparer
• Package of Tax returns and saving in DMS (Data Management System)
• E-filing of Tax returns to the Tax authorities
• Responsible for self review of deliverables before handing them to Supervisor
• Utilize available resources and guides to enhance process knowledge.
• Contribute to team discussions and share knowledge for the benefit of the group
• Understand assignment instructions and applies them as directed; seeks guidance when needed
• Understands personal and team roles as well as based on responsibilities and objectives
• Attention to detail, deadline oriented and able to manage time
• Respects and maintains confidentiality of client, staff and firm information

Minimum years experience required

• Graduate/Post graduate
• Strong technical background with previous experience in offshore practice a plus
• Should have worked in a team environment and possess excellent communication skills
